Purple grape juice is a source of both polyphenols and carbohydrate which may have enhanced performance 🍇
But due to the placebo containing no carbohydrate / calories, this performance enhancing effect could simply down to carb provision pre-exercise 🧐
At the very least, purple grape juice could be a food-first approach to carb and fluid intake pre-exercise ✅
