📈 A total of 102 studies (44%) showed positive effects of carb consumption on performance
⏱️ With no difference between performance modalities (time trial vs time to exhaustion) or type of sport
➕ Combined carb sources (fructose + glucose) significantly improved performance vs single carb source or other combinations
⏰ Carb consumption seemed to improve performance to a greater extent in efforts lasting 1-2 hrs and 2-4 hrs
